BIO
Oronde Yero MS, LPC, NCC is a professional counselor and Life Coach in Atlanta, Georgia. He founded Ascensions Personal Empowerment Services in 2010. He is also the author of Self-Rule: Reclaiming Your Inner-Life, Light, and Sovereign Self. Oronde received his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University in 2015. He is a gifted visual artist, poet, writer, and martial artist who uses his talents to serve others. As a life coach, he aids clients in achieving their personal goals by helping them to leverage their authenticity and cultivate skills for success. He combines spiritual wisdom, deep personal insight, and evidence-based strategies to empower clients. As a mental health counselor, Oronde assists individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, and PTSD. His therapeutic methods include Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy grounded in a client-centered approach to counseling. A central tenet of his practice is the belief that the answers and healing that the client needs are to be found within themselves.
